　　 On June 26, 2024, the founding meeting of the aramid branch of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association and the aramid industry exchange seminar were held in Yantai, Shandong Province. Duan Xiaoping, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation, He Yanli, former First Class Inspector of the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission and former Vice President of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, Wu Tong, Deputy Director of the Textile Department of the Consumer Products Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other leading guests, as well as representatives from domestic enterprises related to aramid fiber production and application, attended the meeting. 　　 Through the vote of all the representatives attending the meeting, Taihe New Material Group Co., Ltd. was considered as the first rotating president unit of the aramid fiber branch, and Sinochem High Performance Fiber Materials Co., Ltd., Zhongfang New Material Co., Ltd., Zhonglan Chenguang Chemical Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Shengbang New Material Co., Ltd. were the vice president units, Zhang Zixin, Director of Science and Technology Department of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, served as the Secretary General of the branch, Zhou Xubo of Taihe New Material Group Co., Ltd. and Yuan Ye of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association served as the Deputy Secretary General of the branch.

　　 Yuan Ye of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association made the Report on Preparation for the Establishment of Aramid Branch of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association. The meeting discussed and approved the Work Regulations of the Aramid Branch of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, the 2024 Work Plan of the Aramid Branch of China Chemical Fiber Industry Association and the list of distinguished experts of the branch.

　　 In the exchange link, Hu Zuming, a professor from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Donghua University, and Zhou Qing, the chairman of Beijing Punotai New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., respectively, shared and discussed the application, development direction and preparation of aramid materials with the topic of preparation and performance research of high temperature resistant aramid films and the application of aramid in the bulletproof field.

　　 Representatives of Taihe New Material, Zhonglan Chenguang, Zhongfang New Material, Sinochem High Fiber, Shengbang New Material, Fengshengtai New Material, Yizheng Chemical Fiber, Diren (China) and other companies made speeches, exchanging and discussing topics such as market development, new application scenario expansion, green development, technical exchange and cooperation. The representatives at the meeting unanimously expressed that they would actively support the work of the aramid branch, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, increase innovation, improve product quality stability and application applicability, and jointly promote the healthy development of the aramid industry.

In view of the current global competition situation, we should reasonably analyze the development trend, rationally respond to market fluctuations, and jointly create a benign competitive business environment; In the face of the existing market demand, focus on large-scale integration, improve the high-end and multi-functional product performance, and create a more competitive, more innovative, higher value-added, safer and reliable industrial chain; Strengthen the development of downstream applications, lay out battery, energy storage, tires, lightweight bulletproof and other racetracks, serve the development of strategic emerging industries, and open the secondary growth curve of the industry; Pay attention to the sustainable development of the industry, develop the recycling technology of aramid fiber, promote the bio based, biodegradable, stock solution dyeing series of aramid fiber products, and accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of the industry. 　　 Duan Xiaoping, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation, put forward five suggestions for the development of aramid fiber industry and the future work of aramid fiber branch: first, the aramid fiber industry has a large development space, but needs rational development. Compared with conventional chemical fiber, aramid fiber still has great room for progress in production technology, production efficiency and product grade. If the production capacity grows too fast, it will miss the opportunity of technology update. The second is to look for market segments and take root in them. Taking basalt fiber and carbon fiber as examples, the importance of finding a market segment for aramid fiber is vividly illustrated. The third is to establish a new model of upstream and downstream industrial chain cooperation based on the core members of the branch. We should use our own high-quality products and perfect service system to establish close customer relations and enhance customer stickiness. Fourth, fill in the gaps and make up for deficiencies to ensure industrial safety. Only by boldly and rationally using domestic production equipment and giving domestic equipment opportunities can we reduce dependence on imports and maintain industrial safety. Fifth, the branch should continue to extend services and improve service quality. The branch should "transplant" the work experience accumulated from conventional fibers into the services of the aramid fiber industry, such as the informatization, digitalization and intelligent transformation of the polyester polyester industry, the construction of the social responsibility system for recycled cellulose fibers, the "fiber road" and other successful models for the market promotion of fiber popularity trends, and "transplant" into the services of the aramid fiber industry to promote the health rapid growth.
