In June, China's textile and clothing exports reached US $31.55 billion, up 14.1% year-on-year (18.2% in RMB terms) and 7.9% month on month. Among them, the textile export was US $13.5 billion, up 8.0% year-on-year (11.7% year-on-year in terms of RMB), and decreased by 3.8% month on month. Clothing exports increased by 18.7% year-on-year (RMB 18.7 billion).

From the perspective of major export products, In the first five months of this year, the export of textile yarn and fabric in the upper reaches of the industry increased significantly compared with the same period last year, with a year-on-year growth of 21.5% and 22.9% respectively; The export of terminal textile products decreased slightly by 0.3% year on year. In the first half of the year, the growth rate of China's clothing export slowed down only in April due to the impact of domestic epidemic situation. From May to June, the growth trend of China's clothing export rapidly resumed, with a year-on-year growth of 12% in the first half of the year.

From the main export markets ， ASEAN It is the biggest export market of our industry since this year. In the first five months, China exported 22.69 billion US dollars of textiles and clothing to ASEAN, an increase of 23.0% year-on-year, accounting for 18% of China's global exports. Among them, textile yarn (export value of US $1.39 billion), fabric (US $11.03 billion), textile products (US $4.49 billion) and clothing (US $5.78 billion) increased significantly compared with the same period last year, with a year-on-year increase of 30.6%, 26.1%, 10.7% and 26.3% respectively.

At the same time, China's U.S.A The export of textiles and clothing reached 21.49 billion US dollars, up 9.9% year on year, accounting for 17.2% of China's export in the world. Among them, the export of clothing to the United States was 14.93 billion US dollars, and the export of textile products was 5.89 billion US dollars, up 12.5% and 4.3% respectively compared with the same period last year.

From January to may, China's EU 27 The export of textiles and clothing reached 17.78 billion US dollars, up 11.7% year on year. Among them, clothing export reached 11.71 billion US dollars, up 17.9% year on year. Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Greece and Italy were the main export target countries, and their clothing exports in the first five months all achieved year-on-year growth. In addition, China's textile yarn and fabric exports to Europe increased by 44.5% and 65.3% respectively year-on-year, while the export of textile products to Europe decreased by 19.7%.

Japan In terms of market, from January to May this year, China exported 7.61 billion US dollars of textiles and clothing to Japan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.8%. Among them, the exports of clothing (5.47 billion US dollars) and textile products (1.85 billion US dollars) decreased by 7.6% and 6.4% respectively compared with the same period last year. The export of textile yarn and fabric increased by 16.5% and 0.2% respectively.
