As part of the international women's Day Initiative, Burberry, a British luxury group, CO operates with British charity Smart Works to help 7 women return to work.

At the Flagship Exhibition Hall in London, Burberry invited 7 participants from the charity to attend a dress lecture. Through this activity, they get a Burberry one to one modeling service to help them build self-confidence in job interviews. Burberry also provided 7 women with a number of business attire for them to wear until they get their first paycheck.

Since 2013, Burberry has been working with Smart Works to donate Burberry products to poor women who are unemployed for a long time. Smart Works is a charity that provides support for unemployed women through dress and interview guidance services. Half of the recipients of Smart Works came from ethnic minorities, 40% of them were single mothers. Smart Works also recently announced the Duchess of Sussex (Duchess of Sussex) as its royal patron.

Burberry Judy Collinson, chief marketing officer, said: "Smart Works has had a major impact on women's work and life. We have established long-term cooperation with Smart Works. We all believe in the tremendous power of clothing. SmartWorks not only provides material help for women, but also gives women confidence and strength. Besides, this cooperation has brought new value to our surplus inventory. We are all very happy to have such positive results.

"Gorgeous records" reported last year that in the Burberry fiscal year 2018, 28 million 600 thousand pounds worth of goods were destroyed, including 10 million cosmetic products such as perfume. Subsequently, Burberry announced that it would no longer destroy goods in the name of protecting brand value. It would actively take inventory, reuse, repair, donation and other means of handling inventory products (see "ornate ambition": two important decisions announced by Burberry: no longer destroy stock products, join the anti fur camp). Since then, Burberry has expanded cooperation with Smart Works.

As early as October 2017, the Burberry Foundation of Burberry foundation established a five year partnership with Elvis &Kresse, an environmental luxury company in France. The two sides will spanform at least 120 tons of leather waste into new products (see "ornate ambition"): leather waste can also be made into luxury goods, Burberry foundation and environmental protection luxury goods company Elvis&Kresse sign five years cooperation agreement.

Last year, more than 250 women were interviewed in Burberry costumes, and 60% of them interviewed successfully. Smart Works plans to provide business dress for 3500 women in the UK this year.
