Bangladesh Clothing Exports To The US Exceed India

Bangladesh is a small country adjacent to India, but Bangladesh exports to the United States for the first time in history than India.

These countries can surpass India because their prices are competitive.

Bangladesh has some larger and more advanced clothing companies whose productivity exceeds that of India clothing companies, making Bangladesh have an advantage in terms of price, and their labor costs are also lower than those in India.

India's labour cost is almost two times that of Bangladesh.

Labor cost is a big part in the production cost of garment manufacturers.

India textile and garment export enterprises have been calling on the government to help them to overcome the crisis, and various textile organizations have submitted numerous memorandums of understanding.

But first of all, exporters must enhance their competitiveness and solve bottlenecks so that they can survive the crisis and maintain a relatively substantial growth rate.
