Production Of Leather Products In Turkey Declined In May

According to Turkey's reference newspaper, although the production of automobile industry has been increased by 20.7% by export, the production of textile industry has increased by 2.4% only in May.

This is the lowest monthly increase in industrial production since 2005.

In the same month, the industries with larger production growth mainly included: Automobile and accessories increased by 20.7%, electrical appliances increased by 12.4%, paper industry increased by 11.9%, furniture increased by 11.5%, printing industry increased by 10.5%, and so on: the textile industry decreased by 19.5%, radio, television and communication equipment dropped 16.1%, leather products and bags decreased by 16.1%, office supplies decreased by 12.3%, and garments decreased by 10.5%.

Although the growth rate of GDP in the first quarter was as high as 6.6%, in the two quarter, due to the marked decline in industrial production, the growth rate of GDP was expected to slow down.
