The employment training seminar for logistics management majors of Zhejiang Wanli University was held at Zhejiang Wanli University, with the theme of "navigating and building the year of employment and quality service".

The recruitment internship meeting has gathered more than 60 well-known logistics enterprises and logistics information service companies, including Olin network technology, DHL Ningbo branch, Zhejiang Sinop Ningbo Ming Zhou branch, and so on, providing more than 600 job training posts.

According to some of the participating logistics enterprises, the logistics talents in Ningbo are facing the problem of "structural shortage", that is, the contradiction between "total surplus" of logistics graduates in universities and the recruitment difficulties of employers in logistics shortage positions. Logistics enterprises have great demand for logistics professionals with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience and capabilities, but there is a huge gap between them.


It is reported that this recruitment meeting is the first professional recruitment meeting in Ningbo this year.

The modern logistics college is a two level college that combines Zhejiang Wanli University with the development of regional economy and modern logistics industry in Ningbo. It is characterized by academic education, enterprise logistics personnel training and production, teaching and research integration.

Since its establishment in June this year, the Modern Logistics Institute has signed a school enterprise cooperation agreement with more than 30 logistics enterprises and has carried out substantive cooperation.

The Institute also set up a platform for industry university research cooperation to encourage teachers to take the initiative to carry out social services, students' participation in scientific research and enterprise service practice, and enhance teachers' social service ability and students' employment competitiveness.

At present, the Institute has reached more than 10 logistics enterprises' cooperation intentions, and several projects are in the implementation stage. It has signed a 2+2 logistics talent training agreement with the State University of New York, and has signed agreements with exchange partners, such as Britain, Germany, France, Japan and Korea, to foster students' international vision.
