From the November results of clothing and footwear retail sales in the United States, the sales performance of many major retail outlets has declined to varying degrees.

Compared with the same period in 2007, retail sales continued to decline in November, despite the fact that consumer spending continued to decline.

Nevertheless, the world's largest WAL-MART sales increased by 1.6%, while sales in the US increased by 3.4%.

Another fashion seller in the United States increased sales by 6% in November, and its same store grew 42%.

Barker (Buckle) said sales rose 15%.

Bakers Footwear Group released its sales results, sales rose 3.6%, compared with a 3.7% decline in the same period last year. Beck's footwear sales increased by a year earlier.

In addition, Cato Corporation and Ross Stores also increased to varying degrees.
