The Story Of Turkey Managing Stories

2009/4/23 0:00:00 11

A man set up a trap to catch Turkey. He scattered corn inside and outside a big box. There was a door in the big box. There was a rope on the door. He grabbed the other end of the rope and hid in one place. As long as the turkey came into the box, he pulled the rope and shut the door.

One day, 12 turkeys came into the box. Unfortunately, 1 of them slipped out. He wanted to wait for 12 turkeys in the box and then close the door. But when he was waiting for the 12 Turkey, there were 2 turkeys running out. He wanted to wait for another 11 turkeys in the box and pull the rope. But when he waited, there were 3 turkeys slipping out. Finally, there were no more than 1 turkeys in the box.

Commentaries: investors often do not understand the importance of stopping as soon as possible. When the situation starts to deteriorate, they still cling to the vague idea, unable to objectively analyze the situation, blindly adhere to the gambler's mindset, so as to continue to sink deeply into an irreparable situation.

A balanced mind is often more important than an ingenious analysis.
